I know I'm a LITTLE late in getting this up and posted but hey, what can I say? I have been busy with a half a dozen and one things and then a bunch of nothin. In other words, I'm gettin old and slowin down. Is that a good excuse or what?

I was up in Eureka visiting with my sister and that took some time away from posting so I will blame it on that. Will post pics of my visit with her later. But for now back to Mother's Day.

We threw a surprise dinner for Sis. Allard and Sis. Wilson and had a great time of fellowship with just the ladies. As you can see by the look on Sis. Wilson face we really got her. Ha ha ha ha ha! I love a good surprise. I don't know where Sis. Allard thought she was going but where ever it was she didn't end up there. We had better plans for her that night.

Nothing like getting together with God's people and enjoying great Godly fellowship. It just has a way of lifting one's spirit and soon it's as if a weight has been lifted right off of your shoulders. I wouldn't trade my spiritual family for all the friends, fame or fortune this world has to offer. Isn't God Good?

Don't you love it when you're able to pull a surprise off on someone? Last month, we had 2 surprise parties in my family. One was for my brother-in-law and one for my husband. Both of them turned 50. You did a great job on your Smilebox. Glad you were able to honor these 2 special ladies in your life.

What a wonderful tribute to two very special ladies who are special to many of us. Loved your Smilebox presentation. And glad to see that you've returned to blogging. Really have missed your inspiring words.

Karen, they are special ladies, aren't they. I know that they are loved by many and not just by those of us here at our home church.

I know I have been slacking in my blogging as of late. I have had a lot of things going on in my life. Kind of been pre-occupied but I'm Okay. Things are on the mend and hopefully I will get back on track.

Sis. Connell, I DO love it when a good surprise is pulled off. The look on Sis. Wilson's face was worth it all and Sis. Allard was totally taken by surprise as well. All I know is that these two ladies deserved the honor that was bestowed upon them that night and more.

Catherine, I'm fine Sis. It's nice to know that you were thinking of me and praying for me. I do appreciate it much.

Just a lot of things going on in my life lately and I have been so pre-occupied. Heard a great message two Sunday Mornings ago by Bro Ojeda titled "Damaged But Repairable". That fit me pretty good. He went on to talk about those who are damaged that hide out in caves. They are called "Cave Dwellers". I guess that is what I have been doing. I will do a post on that next. It is time for me to come out of the Cave.

Love you Catherine and thanks for just being there.

Oh Sister, I'm praying for you.
It's something, I posted a while back on "My other connection" - Looking in- about "Wounded". I know God is working on us all to help us. Love you.
