It's In The Attitude!

"The last of the human freedoms is to choose one's
attitude in any given set of circumstances."
— Victor Frankl

I could not agree more with Dr. Frankl. Yet, when you grasp where he made this comment and the condition he was under. This will add a completely new perspective to his words.
Dr. Frankl penned these words while a prisoner in the German death camps. He survived three years, trying to work from memory.
So yes, once you grasp a meaning for the pain then you can life through it.
He did. His great book is titled, “Man in Search for Meaning.”

Attitude... Good word or bad word. Depends on your attitude :)

I like this post...the pic and the quotes...simple, but gets the point across! I've read about Victor Frankl, and I remember well his experience with keeping a good attitude, even in the midst of suffering. Such an awesome quote truly has quite a significance, in light of the story behind it.

This reminds me of Sis. Karry's song...''this trial that I'm walking in ain't nothin' to be afraid of...it's in the attitude!''

Your attitude determines your altitute. We choose how good our day goes by the way that we react to the situations that occur. Sometimes it is not easy to keep a positive attitude, but it is all in the attitude. It was great being with your church this weekend.

God Bless,

Someone once said that it's your attitude that determines your altitude, and I believe that is true. Short but powerful post. Hope you're doing well. :-)

Sis. Noel, It has been a while hasn't it. I have just been rather busy as of late taking care of a few things. One of them is trying to make sure that I am keeping a right spirit and a good attitude in the midst of this trial. I will because my Lord is by my side. :)

Mervi & Janet, When you think of the suffering Dr. Frankl went through and the positive attitude he kept, it sure puts one to shame when one begins to murmur and complain doesn't it?

Catherine, you are soooo right!

Chandra, When I read this quote I too, thought of Karri's song. That is where I got my title. :D

That's it right there in a nutshell Bro. Tredway. You summed it quite well. It is alway a blessing to have you join us. We are always blessed when you preach for us. God bless!

Sis. Connell, So true. We can either drag ou feet with a rotten attitude or soar with the eagles with a good attitude. It is all up to us. I am doing better now. Thanks.
