I would just love to have a white Christmas. I use to live in Missoula Montana as a little girl and I loved the snow and Christmas time with the icicles hanging from the edge of the house and snow everywhere. We would go out and build snowmen, and have snowball fights, snowsled and then come in to a nice warm fire in the fireplace drinking hot chocolate with marshmellows. Then momma would serve us some of her homemade cookies or pie. It was so beautiful. SIGH! Oh well, it was good while it lasted :)

At least I have my memories. That is where I got baptized in Jesus Name in the dead middle of winter by brother Kelley. I had just turned 7 in Dec and was baptized in January of 1961.

Now I live here and get to enjoy the beautiful smog and fog. Who could ask for more? :0

Even if it did snow around my parts... it wouldn't be enough to make a snow man. :( I miss the midwest snow! (But don't miss the cold!) :)

Greeting Jolene;
Reading the all the talk about the snow and such. I was born and raised in the Midwest, Nebraska and Iowa. I have played in that five feet of snow and made snowmen and all those other things you do with or in the snow. But or however, I do not miss that wind nor Jack Frost painting on the windows.
Jolene I am not happy with the fog and smog, I will however take the 40 degrees against the -40 degrees. Besides, it does not seem that we are getting as many foggy days nor for as long as it used to be foggy here in the central valley.
We are still asking the Lord tot touch you:

Mervi, I would love to have a White Christmas but that is all I would love to have. Just enough snow for the holidays. :D After that, the snow can go away. Like you, I prefer the 40 degrees to the -40 degrees. It was fun as a child but I don't know if I would like it now all the time. I think I have been away from it tooooo long. It was beautiful though.

Thanks again for your prayers. I truly appreciate it.
God bless you and yours and may you have a Merry Merry Christmas

Love in Christ,
Jolene
