Here's an e-mail I received today:
Being a Christian is like being a pumpkin.
God lifts you up, takes you in, and washes all the dirt off of you.
He opens you up, reaches deep inside and scoops out all the yucky stuff -- including the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc.
Then He carves you a new smiling face, and puts His light inside of you to shine for the entire world to see.

This is kind of a neat illustration. I used it for an object lesson last year in Youth ALIVE. I hope you have awesome church tomorrow. I'm still praying for you.

Carol, When I read it I thought, WOW! It had great correlation with the way God cleanses us. I can see why you used it for the youth.
I want to thank you again for your continued prayers. They are truly appreciated. You have great church tomorrow as well.
